About This Quote

I believe that everyone has a shadow. One of my friends is a woman who is the complete opposite of me. She doesn’t like to go out and party, she is very responsible and she has a great family. She also has a shadow which is that she doesn’t have a real job.

Despite all of this, she still loves her life and enjoys what she does on a daily basis. I am far from perfect and I have a lot of flaws but one thing I do have control over is my shadow. I can control those flaws and how they affect me.

Even though my life is full of many things I don’t want to be, such as schoolwork or social anxiety, I can choose whether or not those things will affect me day to day.
